Kenyan Socialite Vera Sidika Welcomed In Uganda Like A Boss! See Photos
Popular and controversial Kenyan socialite, Vera Sidika yesterday landed in Uganda ahead of the Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards scheduled to take place this weekend at The Serena Conference Centre.
The super-hot socialite touched down at Entebbe airport at a few minutes past 3:00PM on Thursday afternoon and was welcomed by Fashionista Ahumuza Brian aka Abryanz, the organizer of the event.
She spoke to journalists at the airport’s parking yard briefly before she was driven in a black Range Rover Sport to NTV where she was hosted by Douglas Lwanga on The Beat.
Vera Sidika will be hosting the 3rd edition of the Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards which will be featuring the crème de le crème Uganda’s fashionistas as well as other African fashion icons.
Word also has it that Nigerian singer and song writer, Banky W will be gracing the awards ceremony alongside Kenya's very own top afro pop band Sauti Sol.

Katie Price has been left in agony after fracturing her coccyx.
The former glamour model - who has children Harvey, 13, Junior, 10, and Princess, eight, from previous relationships and Jett, two, and Bunny, 16 months, with husbandKieran Hayler - was left in agony after accidentally injuring the base of her spine while playing with the kids.
She said: "I fractured my coccyx a few weeks ago.

£6million Louisa Johnonson: X Factor winner lined up for deal before win and could cash in big time
Louisa Johnson was always going to be offered a major recording deal – regardless of the X Factor result.
The winning 17-year-old has been the favourite for months and record bosses spotted the her raw talent and rare vocal power from the start.
Louisa – whose winner’s single of Bob Dylan’s Forever Young is being rush-released – is predicted to enjoy levels of popularity similar to 2006 winner Leona Lewis and earn at least £6million in the next year alone.
Signalling the huge hopes of success for the Essex girl, Simon said: “I know I’m prone to exaggeration.
"In all the years I’ve done this show I’ve never, ever heard anything like that.
“You’re not human.”
Grimmy called it a “smack in the face” and said she was already acting like an ‘artist’.
And whatever the result, Reggie ‘n’ Bollie had also been lined up with a deal to release a single.
Hours before the result was announced, a source revealed: “Either way both acts would have released at least one song.
“There is a lot of interest in both Louisa and the boys – they will both work with labels within the Sony family.”

This year’s X Factor has been a ratings flop, with show aides desperate to point out a growing number of viewers are watching on catch-up rather than live.
The first part of the final, screened on Saturday, limped in with 5.9 million viewers, a drop of more than two million on last year’s show, which drew 8.1 million.
This is a far cry from the glory days of 2010, when a staggering peak audience of 17.7 million tuned in to see Matt Cardle crowned champion.
The pain of the plummeting figures was compounded for show boss Simon Cowell by BBC1’s Strictly Come Dancing semi-final drawing 9.4 million, in its earlier slot from 6.50pm.
Bookies William Hill installed Louisa as the joint favourite to win after the first show aired back in August, giving her odds of 5-1.
She went into the show as the dead cert to triumph with odds of 1-7 compared with 1-4 for Reggie ‘n’ Bollie.
After Saturday’s show there was controversy following a technical hitch in which the wrong audio was played over the video of third placed finalist Che Chesterman.
As host Caroline Flack struggled to rectify the mistake, show boss Simon Cowell raised his hands in the air to enquire what was going on.
The embarrassing production hitch is just one of many mistakes which have plagued this series.
The worst came when Olly Murs revealed Monica Michael was to leave the competition several minutes too early.
Viewers also blasted the duets between former winners Leona Lewis and Ben Haenow, with one declaring: “There’ve been many versions of Snow Patrol’s Run but the one Leona Lewis and Ben Haenow just did has to be the worst.”
Last year Cowell said that the singing talent show needed to be given a huge revamp after ratings took a nosedive.
But the changes – which have included axing judge Louis Walsh and host Dermot O’Leary – have not proved popular with the audience.
Another change included judges’ houses being filmed live for the first time.
Afterwards Cowell admitted: “I was on stage with my contestants, I couldn’t hear a word of what was going on.
“It was chaos. That was one bloody lesson learned. It will never be that bad again.”
Olly and Caroline have drawn criticism for failing to recapture the easy banter they previously enjoyed on ITV2’s spin-off show Xtra Factor.

Mwenyekiti huyo alieleza kuwa makosa ya kiutendaji yanapaswa kuchukuliwa hatua za kiutendaji kwa mujibu wa sheria za utumishi wa umma na sio kuwaweka jela kama watu waliofanya makosa ya jinai.
Taarifa hiyo ilitaja baadhi ya matukio ambayo imepokea ripoti zake kuwa ni pamoja na Mkuu wa Wilaya ya Kinondoni, Paul Makonda kuamuru maafisa ardhi waliochelewa kufika kazini wakamatwe na kuwekwa selo kwa saa 6.
Alilitaja tukio lingine kuwa ni Mkuu wa Wilaya ya Musoma kuamuru afisa afya wa kata kukamatwa na kuwekwa kizuizini kwa kosa la kutosimamia ipasavyo utekelezaji wa maelekezo ya rais John Magufuli, kufanya usafi katika siku ya kumbukumbu ya Uhuru, Disemba 9.
“Kuwapa adhabu za kinidhamu ingekuwa njia bora zaidi kuliko kuwafunga jela kama wamefanya jinai,” inasomeka sehemu ya tamko hilo huku likiwataka viongozi kuzingatia haki za binadamu kama zilivyoainishwa kwenye katiba.

X Factor winner Louisa Johnson tweets and deletes a message about her debut single written TWO days ago
The X Factor bod looking after Louisa Johnson's Twitter account might be getting a slap on the wrist.
A post shared on her official Twitter page promoting her debut single shows it was written on December 11 TWO days before The X Factor final.
The message posted tonight read: "X Factor-winner Louisa Johnson's new single is out now! Get the winner's single "Forever Young" on iTunes now."
The date stamp on it is 11/12/2015 23:36am meaning it was written before the final. It has now been deleted.
It is likely the message was scheduled on Tweet Deck but whoever is in charge of her social media didn't change the date. Oops.
Although it was probably an honest mistake, it won't do bosses any favours as viewers continue to claim the show is fixed.
One fan re-posted the message and wrote: "Kinda proves its a fix?? # XFactorFix."
Another added: "why can people not grasp onto the fact x factor is a fix? you get those people who go on rants about it but it's been obvious for years."
Simon Cowell previously rubbished the claimed, telling the Daily Star newspaper: "The show isn't fixed and I certainly didn't tell the other judges who to save.
"I can categorically say we don't do that."
Louisa was crowned the winner tonight after beating Reggie 'N' Bollie in the live final.
She burst into tears as she hugged mentor Rita Ora.
"I don't think you're human. I have never ever heard anything as good as what you just did," Simon told her. "You're 17-years-old, you're not human."

Wafanyabiashara 15 wanakabiliwa na uwezekano wa kufikishwa mahakamani kujibu tuhuma za kutolipa kodi, baada ya kushindwa kutumia ahueni ya siku saba iliyotolewa na Rais John Magufuli ya kulipa ili kuepuka hatua za kisheria.Rais Magufuli, alipokutana na wafanyabishara, alitoa nafuu hiyo zaidi ya wiki moja iliyopita, lakini kitendo cha wafanyabiashara hao kutolipa kumeisababishia Serikali kushindwa kukusanya kwa wakati Sh3.75 bilioni wanazodaiwa. Mbali na kuwabainisha wafanyabiashara hao, Mamlaka ya Mapato Tanzania (TRA) pia imetangaza rasmi kuwa itaanza kutoa bure mashine za kielektroniki za kukatia risiti (EFD) kwa wafanyabiashara wote wanaostahili.
Kaimu Kamishna Mkuu wa TRA, Dk Philip Mpango aliwaeleza wanahabari kuwa hadi jana ni kampuni 28 tu ndizo zilizotii agizo hilo la Rais na kufanikisha ukusanyaji wa Sh10.643 bilioni.
Dk Mpango alisema kuwa muda wa kulipa kodi kwa hiari uliisha Desemba 11, hivyo wafanyabishara hao 15 ambao wameshindwa kabisa kulipa kodi katika kipindi hicho “wasubiri cha moto” kwa kuchukuliwa hatua kali za kisheria kwa kuwa ni lazima mapato ya Serikali yalipwe.
“Hata hizo siku saba walizokuwa wamepatiwa tayari walikuwa wameshavunja sheria, hivyo wale waliolipa kwa wakati wamesamehewa kupelekwa mahakamani, lakini ambao hawajalipa watashtakiwa na kupigwa faini,” alisema Dk Mpango bila kubainisha kiwango cha adhabu.
Alisema baadhi ya wafanyabiashara hao walienda “kulalamika lalamika”, lakini TRA haitawasamehe kwa kuwa kodi hizo zinahitajika kufanikisha utoaji wa huduma kwa wananchi. Dk Mpango alibainisha kuwa kati ya fedha zilizokusanywa katika kipindi hicho, Sh4.16 bilioni kinatoka kampuni 13 ambazo zimelipa kodi yote iliyokuwa imekadiriwa, huku Sh2.2 bilioni zikitoka katika kampuni 15 zilizotoa sehemu ya mapato waliokuwa wakidaiwa.
Sanjari na kampuni hizo, bosi huyo mpya wa TRA alisema kampuni ya bandari kavu ya Azam ICD ililipa kiasi cha Sh4.17 bilioni kama dhamana kati ya Sh12.6 ya kodi iliyokuwa imekwepwa katika sakata la upotevu wa makontena 329.
Katika kuhakikisha wote waliokwepa kodi kwa kuondoa makontena bandarini kinyume na sheria na taratibu za forodha wanalipa mapato hayo ya Serikali, TRA imefungua akaunti maalumu Benki Kuu ya Tanzania (BOT) ijulikanayo kama ‘commissioner for customs and excise-Container Account namba 9921169785 itakayorahisisha ukusanyaji huo.
“Wale wote ambao wanapaswa kulipia kodi pamoja na adhabu ya kuondosha makontena bandarini kinyume na taratibu wanaelekezwa kutumia akaunti hii kulipa kiasi chote wanachodaiwa,” alisema Dk Mpango.
Kwa kipindi cha hivi karibuni, Waziri Mkuu, Kassim Majaliwa amefanya ziara ya kushtukiza mara mbili bandarini na kugundua uwepo wa mtandao wa ufisadi uliosababisha upotevu wa awali makontena 349 na mara ya pili makontena 2,431 yaliyotolewa bila kulipa ushuru.
Mpaka sasa tayari Rais Magufuli ameshamsimamisha kazi mkurugenzi mkuu wa Mamlaka ya Bandari (TPA), Awadhi Massawe na kamishna mkuu wa TRA, Rished Bade kupisha uchunguzi wa masakata hayo, huku akiivunja Bodi ya bandari.
Ili kuongeza ufanisi wa bandari kavu nchini, Dk Mpango alisema ofisi yake inaanza kupitia upya utaratibu wa kutoa leseni za ICD pamoja na usimamizi, kazi aliyosema itaondoa ‘uozo’ wote katika vituo hivyo vya dhamana za forodha.
“Mamlaka itaanza kupiga picha makontena yote yanayopita bandarini hapo tofauti na awali ambako yalikuwa yanapigwa picha machache kama sampuli,” alisema.
Ili kwenda na kasi ya utoaji mizigo na upigaji picha, alisema TRA inafanya utaratibu wa kuongeza mashine za kukagulia mizigo hiyo ziitwazo “scanner”.
EFD bure
Katika kutii agizo jingine la Rais, TRA imetangaza kuwa wafanyabiashara takriban 200,000 wenye sifa za kupatiwa EFD, watapewa badala ya utaratibu wa zamani wa kuwakopesha.
Alisema awali fedha za mkopo wa mashine hizo zilikuwa zinarudishwa kupitia marejesho ya mapato yao kwa mamlaka.
“Kwa sasa bado tunafanya uchambuzi wa wafanyabiashara wanaotakiwa kupatiwa mashine hizo. Tunaangalia tutagawaje mashine hizo siyo zote kuziweka Dar es Salaam wakati na mikoani inabidi tuzipeleke za kutosha,” alisema Dk Mpango.
Pia, kiongozi huyo wa zamani wa Tume ya Mipango, aliwataka watumishi wote kukamilisha ujazaji fomu za kutangaza mali zao kwa kuwa zimesalia siku mbili la sivyo sheria na taratibu za kiutawala zitachukuliwa kuwaadhibu.
